I have done several expeditions to the Arctic. I’ve experienced it on on skis, hiking trips, kayak trips, dog sleds and reindeer sleds. It is like another home for me. The indigenous people have always been a privilege to be with, greatly enriching my life. These paintings came from living on the land close to nature, allowing me to experience the environment in a very profound way.
